Suggest Treatment For TSH 0.09 And Raised Heart Beat

I have had radioactive iodine to kill a toxic adenoma in my thyroid, but it didn t work. Now my TSH is 0.09 my resting heart rate is 130 my BNP Has been elevated also. I now take atenolol and Lasix to control those symptoms. The dr I am seeing wants to wait another 6 months and do radioactive iodine again. I am really sick now I don t know if I can wait 6 months. What do you suggest?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
The level of TSH suggests that you are having a condition known as Hyper Thyroidism. This usually accompanies increased heart beats for this purpose you should start taking anti thyroid drugs prescribed by a Surgeon/ Endocrinologist along with Beta blockers ( drugs which slow down your heart beat).
