Hello, Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have read your question fully and understand your concerns. Bed wetting in a previously dry child is called secondary nocturnal enuresis. There could be due to quite a few reasons and she needs to be assessed thoroughly. Stress can cause nocturnal enuresis. Is she under any stress? Is she fine at school/home? Sleep problems can cause bed wetting too. Urine infection is a common cause too. You need to rule out diabetes, so she should have blood glucose tests. Constipation can cause bed wetting too. In some children, there could be an over active bladder that could cause nocturnal enuresis. I would advise you to see a doctor for assessment and tests and to get appropriate management as soon as possible. Bed wetting in a 14 year old child may leave a psychological impact on her, so the sooner she is treated the better.
