Suggest Treatment For UTI While Having Severe Anxiety Problems

I have been having some symptoms of UTI but it may also be IC. I ve had the symptoms for three days now. I took a AZO uti test and it came back positive (dark purple, the most positive) for leucyocites and negative for nitrates. I m not sure what to do. I have a severe anxiety disorder and am terrified to take antibiotics. I was just married three weeks ago and we had sex three times last week. I noticed the symptoms started the evening after we had sex for the third time. I have been drinking cranberry juice daily ever since we got married. I m worried about this result I got. I m so scared I m going to have to take an antibiotic or that this will lead to a kidney infection. What should I do?

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the urinary tract infection with symptoms suggested need definite treatment to cure it. Without panic, you have to consume antibiotics for better results and avoid secondary complications such as kidney infection and others.
- Prescription of antibiotics such as Fluoroquinolones ( Levofloxacin ) or Nitrofurantoin
- Anti-inflammatory medications as Diclofenac
- avoid sex till recovery
- Take care of genital hygiene
- Control of blood sugar
