hi my 16 y/o daughter was diagnosed with uti since 2011.She also has blood in the exam in the urine evrytime the urine will be checked. last week we again went to MD bec she had fever and pain in the upper back .The urine culture is + with gram + cocci and she had augmentin for 7 days to threat it. But why there is always a blood in the urine .

Actually, it is possible for an increase of red blood cells to be found in urine especially when there is a urinary tract infection. Nothing to worry about
During normal conditions, a few red blood cells can be found in urine on microscopic examination but when there is a urinary tract infection, the number might increase.
