Suggest Treatment For UTI

Hello I have been having on and off symptoms of a UTI for about 2 weeks. I went to the Dr and the basic test show small amount of leukocytes and blood. The Dr said she would treat with macrobid and culture the urine. The culture came back showing 50,000 BFU ml of Hafnia Alvei. The nurse said the Dr wanted me to take diflucan 1 aday x3 days and if I wanted I could stop the macrobid. I looked up the Hafnia Alvei and saw that it is a bacteria. Can you explain why she would say to stop the macrobid.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have urinary tract infection. Your bacteria may be resistant to previous antibiotics so doctor wants more sensitive drugs. Thats why they want to change after culture report. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
