i have uti (urinary tract infection) and it is the first time for me. it has been going on for 2 weeks and i have tried many home remedies such as flushing out my bladder with plenty of water and drinking cranberry juice and baking soda. initially the symptoms had improved but now it has gotten much worse and i believe that the infection has spread into my kidneys as my lower back hurts and is aching. i have been advised to do a course of anti biotics of amoxilin over a period of 5 days by a pharmacist. please advise as i am in thailand and there is a huge language barrier. thank you
I also suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.
I recommend drinking liquids.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
