I am having UTI and it does not seem to go away. I have cytoscopy done and it indicated bladder neck obstruction.Doctor told that with alfouzin it could be treated, but I had pain near the testicles, lower bladder and also flakes were seen during cytoscopy. Doctor prescribed antibiotics based on sensitivness of urine culture for 60 days. How long UTI stays.
Hello Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have UTI secondary to Bladder Neck Obstruction.
Bladder Neck Obstructions causes incomplete emptying of bladder during micturition resulting in to some amount of urine remaining in bladder .This stagnated urine ids the source of infection and getting UTI.
Taking antibiotics will solve your problem temporarily.
I would advise you go for endoscopic incision of bladder neck (Bladder Neck Incision ) so that your bladder neck will remain wide open and help in emptying bladder completely during every micturition ,and there by prevent frequent episodes of UTI.
This is simple surgery and needs one day hospitalization and will offer permanent cure.
