Urologist 's  Response

Hello
Thanks for query .Your one year old daughter has been detected to have UTI and her urine analysis has revealed presence of 30-40 pus cells .

In view of her age this UTI could be due Vesico Ureteric Reflux ( VUR ) I would suggest you to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and further investigations
1) Urine culture
2) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen
3) Micturating cystourothrogram (MCU)
4) DMSA scan.

Further treatment will depend upon the results of these testsand final diagnosis.
