General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Let me tell you that Weber-Christian disease is characterized by periodic attacks of crops of painful and tender subcutaneous fatty nodules associated with fever and it is also a fact that cause of the disease is unknown.

While there is no effective treatment for Weber-Christian disease, it responds well to prednisolone and cyclosporin-A.

An added oxyphenbutazone will also help reduce the pain and inflammation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
