Suggest Treatment For A Black Bump On Elbow From Insect Bite

My little lad about 4 month ago had a what u would only describe as like a burn mark on his elbow and home cream was used and after about 3weeks it heals !!! What could of this been a worried it was a skin bug and needed tablets from doc just for last 3 days he only is eating little bits and sleepy am worried this could be blood posing ???? What are sings and sytomes and how quick does it affect the body if it was this I am worried please get back to me Asap

Hi,

From the information provided what I could gather is that you son had a rash over the elbow for which you gave a home remedy. If the skin has healed then there is no treatment required for the same. The cause for loss of appetite doesn't seem to be related to his skin condition. The symptoms of blood poisoning are fever, lethargy, increased heart rate ,increased breathing etc. Fever is the most important symptom.
