Suggest Treatment For A Black Shade On The Forehead That Won T Go Away
I am a Black adult woman, and i have noticed my skin has turned almost a black shade on my forehead i spoke with a Dermatologist i wa told it is burned from the sun that it will return to its color over the years i was told that there is injections that will bring the color back (really costly) is ther a way of bringing my color back?
Yes, these spots could be due to excessive sun exposure. These hyper-pigmentation scars will fade away itself over couple of months. If you are really concerned there are certain over the counter creams available which contains hydroquinone that can be used for skin fairness. I suggest you let your dermatologist decide what is best for you and let him be the treating physician as he / she has seen you physically.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
