hello my name is brittany and on wensday i had a powerport put in and i got really sick after and was in the hopsital for 5 days but they doctor didnt want it accessed right away but they accessed it today and the doctor left it in when i left cuz my grandma is an icu nurse so she takes care of my health problems. but they flushed it with heperion before i left the hospital but ust a little bit ago my grandma tried to give me my iv nuasea medicine but now its not flushing

if you have no fever,& no infection problem..x ray is to be done to exclude any kink..flushing with heparinised saline is ok..if failed we can use thrombolyitic therapy for it ..to be done by the doctor
