General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a hematoma only. It is nothing but a collection of blood underneath the skin and is quite common after a trauma. It will settle without much problem.

You can apply icepacks for faster recovery. If the lump persists for long, you can seek help from an orthopedic to rule out any fracture.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
