Suggest Treatment For A Chest Lump With Mild Pain On And Off

I have a lump in the middle at the very top of my chest. It is hard to the touch. About 1 inch in diameter. It started out with a lot of pain for about 24 hours. Now it is not tender to the touch. But I can feel a kind of small ache at different times of the day. I feel perfectly healthy.

Hi welcome to HCM...

You have lump at high in chest...
I could be abscess...but abscess is soft not hard....
As it is hard it could be because of fibrosis.
It could be soft tissue tumour also dermatofibroma....
If it from lower lobe thyroid then ridel like thyroiditis can be suspected...

So that lump should be examined properly with looking for its tenderness , attachment to underly structure , colour etc....
Then if found suitable FNAC can be taken to determine whether it is inflammatory , malignancy or infective condition...

According to cause it is treated ...

Take care.
