Suggest Treatment For A Chronic Anemic Person

If you are considered a chronic anemic and constantly maintain a low hemoglobin level despite iron supplements and iron rich diet, is the onlt treatment blood transfusions and erythopoesis? How low does the level have to be for transfusions to be option? does it only depend on the symptoms being experienced? Usually asymptomatic, only experinces fatigue with prolonged activity, decreased rest/sleep inadequate.
