Suggest Treatment For A Dark Pimple Scar On The Face

Recently, I developed a large pimple on my cheek. I looked up homemade remedies to somewhat make the pimple disappear and I stumbled upon some tips, which included applying garlic to the pimple. I did, and noticed great results; the pimple was vanishing! But along with it came an unexpected burn mark. The skin around the now inconspicuous pimple is all brown; a little peeled off, revealing pinkish/red skin underneath. All I m wondering is how long it s going to take for the mark to heal (maybe even disappear), and also, would it leave a permanent scar? Thanks!
