Suggest Treatment For A Dark Purple Spot On The Breast
a few months ago i noticed a dark purple spot on the underside of my breast. i dont know how long it had been there, but over time it has started to hurt and be slightly painful. i felt a little discomfort/pain where the spot is when i bumped into something earlier. i just checked the spot and it looks like a nipple (i dont know how else to describe it) because it is protruding and still dark purple. it does not hurt significantly, but it does really worry me for obvious reasons. i have never experienced anything like this and have no history of breast cancer in my family.
I can understand your concern. Usually a purple spot on the breast that does not hurt much is just a broken blood vessel which is harmless and which clears by itself without any complication.
However, as it is present for a few months in your case, I would advise you not to ignore it and get it examined by a gynecologist. You might have to go through blood tests and mammography for investigations. If nothing comes out in test results, it will be considered harmless and can be ignored for its presence.
