Suggest Treatment For A Large Painful Bump On The Chin

i have a large bump on my chin that appeared yesterday. i thought it was a pimple at first because it was quite small, but now its almost an inch in diameter and is oozing clear liquid. it hurts very much and it's very unnattractive. do you know what it could be?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a large bump over the chin that is oozing clear liquid can be a hair follicle infection or infected gland in the area leading to a bump as well as fluid discharge..
I would suggest you to consult a General Physician and get evaluated..
He can advise you to apply a combination of steroid and antibiotic ointment over it..
Put gentle pressure and drain of the fluid as it will help in faster healing..
You can also do cool compresses over the swelling..
In case if there is pain anti-inflammatory painkiller can be taken.
Avoid scratching the area to prevent further infection..
Keep the area dry and clean..
