Suggest Treatment For A Lump On Back

Our boxer has been lethargic all day. He s not himself he has eaten but really didn t seen interested and ate very slowly. He was fine yesterday so can t figure why he s like this. He just had blood work done this week and it came back okay. Doesn t follow us around like usual or beg to go out. He loves his walks at night but tonight he s just lying around and looks so sad. ??? Another issue is he has a lump on his back. His vet says to leave it alone and it should burst on it s own. He s had it about a year but it seems to have gotten bigger. Should we still leave it alone? Could they lance it and get the stuff out without surgery? Thank you for any help.
