Boils occur as an effect of skin infection. The growth begins at hair follicle or oil glands beneath the skin. Boils commonly cause severe pain and pus eruptions. Boils are mainly caused by a germ called staphylococcal bacteria. When it ruptures, it causes bleeding. Most of the time, boils do not require immediate medical assistance. However, a large boil need surgical drainage of pus.
1.     Amoxicillin 500 mg thrice daily per oral for 7 days
2.     Ibuprofen 600 mg per oral after meal if pain occurs
3.     Hot water fomentation three time daily
4.     Apply Mupirocin cream thrice daily locally
5.     Consult a surgeon as your boil might need surgical drainage if it is large
Thanks
