Suggest Treatment For A Painful Dark Patch On The Thumb

I have a raised dark purple patch on my thumb that I have had for about a year. It causes me pain when I use my thumb a lot doing house work or pulling weeds, or any other activity. It does not itch. It seems to hurt more than it did. What might this be?

Hi dear you are having blood accumulation under your thumb which is known as Subungal Heamatoma. It is usually caused when you got heatby heavy object such as hammer on hard surface.
1) Use Tab. Hifenac P for the pain
2) Consult a surgeon because final treatment requires drainage of the affected area and dressing.
