Suggest Treatment For A Painful Knot On The Calf

I have a painful knot in my calf that is palpable when I flex it. I was worried about a blood clot, so I went to the ER where they did an ultrasound. It was clear. It really hurts when I walk. It s been 2 weeks since the sudden onset (precipitated by a day or two of pins and needles tingling in the same area).
