General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it could be a hematoma which is quite common after the orthopaedic procedure.

We have to rule out other possibilities like bursitis also. You can consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
