Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Head

I have a lump on my head, right at my hairline, on the left side of my face n directly above my eye. quarter size and it doesn t hurt although I do feel it. Its not popable or a pimple, more of a boil. I get headaches and feel as if it is the center of it

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The lump what you are complaining appears to be an infected abscess.
Such lumps needs to be explored and drained by minor surgical procedure.
It is done on outpatient basis under local anesthesia. Following this you have to get the wound dressing done on alternate days for about a week. Also you will be administered a course of antibiotics and analgesics.
Kindly consult Surgeon for management in this regard.
