Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an angiogram 1 year ago through my right wrist, there was a lump at the site of inserted after the procedure. and ultrasound confirmed damage to the artery .I was sent to a artery specialist ,but by this point the lump had decreased to almost nothing and the specialist suggested it had thrombus its self now the same lump seems to have reappeared not as big but tender as before. is this possible?
The lump can recur from any surgical site but won't thrombus. If it is just a lump it can be removed very easily under local anesthesia. We need to examine you before coming to the diagnosis. At least we need to know how the lump looks like in order to come to any conclusion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
