Suggest Treatment For A Painless Bump Below Th Epupil

Hi i a small bump which is skin coloured (from what i can tell) has appeared in on my lower waterline, in the middle directly under my pupil and iris. It is not painful as such but uncomfortable and irritating. Do i need to see a doctor or will there be treatments available at a pharmacy?

Hello,

A painful lump near the pupil can be due to growth arising from the iris. The growth cannot be managed medically.

It needs to removed surgically. However, you need a clinical assessment by an ophthalmologist for clinical assessment and investigations to determine the nature of the lesion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri
