Suggest Treatment For A Prostate Enlargement

How many things are examined when the prostate is enlarged and why is it so painful after the exam? The recovery is very painful on the left leg and time is 3 wks. from this type of exam w/ very little pain killer What else can be done to recover with less pain?

Hello,

I think you should have done an ultrasound to find its measurements and also doing a needle biopsy ultrasound guided. Three weeks are a bit longer for pain after examination. Consult your urologist about it.
