I am New Orleans and just got a call from my 26 year old daughter in Florida. For the past 2 days she has been having severe abdominal pain between her navel and the middle of her chest that is relatively short in duration (2 to 3 minutes) then passes. Its been happening as frequently as every half hour or so. She has been eating, is not not running a fever, and is not constipated. She was diagnosed with HepC 4 years ago but her most recent test showed no presence. Should she seek immediate emergency treatment? Thanks in advance for any advice or possible causes.
