Suggest Treatment For A Skin Rash Despite Taking Antihistamine

I have had red rashes on the front of my legs for 3 months, chronic constipation for 2 months, and now I am having bulging painful veins in my hands and feet and stinging joint pain. I m 60, about 15 pounds over weight and my blood work seems good. My doctor seems to be trying to fix symptoms, but I don t feel better. She said the leg rash might be hives, but I tried an anti-histomine and it didn t clear up. I ve tried stool softners and it s still very hard. thanksWhat can you tell me?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history you are having eczema, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a Clobetasol plus Salicylic acid cream like Clovate SL.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetrizine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
