Suggest Treatment For A Slight Indentation In The Forehead After A Fall

Hi, my 3 year old was playing and hit his forehead on the handle for a dresser drawer. Immediately it showed a small dent in his forehead. The visible dent has cleared, he has a bruise that beginning to show, but I can still feel a slight indentation where the dent was. He doesn t have any other symptoms as a result, but I m worried about the extent of the injury.

Hi dear...do not worry, your little one is fine.
Children hurt themselves while playing all the time. The bruise will heal on its own without medicines. As far as the dent is concerned, children have bones which are yet to be completely ossified, the dents which form now, are because they have softer bones at this stage of growth. Most times the dent doesnt remain since they get back to normal shape as they get older. So, do not worry things should get fine. For mild pain, brufen syrup will suffice and bruising can be left alone.
I hope this answers your query.
Take care.
