Suggest Treatment For A Spider Bite Wound

I got a spider bite (I think) on the inside of my heel/ankle area and treated it since Sat. night by soaking with Epsom salt and warm water, puncturing and releasing the pus looking stuff and applying Young Living essential oils. The bite looks much better, but I have so much edema all over and even with a fluid pill, it isn t going down. Also have wheezing in chest since last night without any cold. Have a terrible headache which I never have either. Just wondering if there could be any reason to think it could be from that bite?

Hello,

It sounds like you have been treating the bite site appropriately by soaking it in Epsom salt and warm water and using essential oils. However, if the wound continues to be red, swollen, and painful, or if you notice any signs of infection such as fever, chills, or increasing drainage, you should see a healthcare provider as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing edema all over and wheezing in the chest, these symptoms are suggestive of possible allergy reaction. I think it is better to seek immediate medical attention. The water pill cannot help you unless you already have other medical issues related to water retention (cardiovascular problems) for which you've been prescribed the water pill. The horrible headache could be related to increased blood pressure. I recommend to keep measuring the blood pressure, and record the results for reference.

At the end, for a spider bite wound, it is important to monitor the wound closely, keep it clean, and seek medical attention if the wound becomes infected or if you develop any severe symptoms. In addition, as you are already experiencing symptoms such as edema, wheezing, or headache, you should see a healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
