Hi,

Features described in your query are suspicious of melanoma until proven otherwise. I advise you to consult a dermatologist for proper clinical assessment and to confirm a diagnosis a biopsy may be required. A dermatologist (skin doctor) or a health care professional is qualified to diagnose melanoma. If melanoma is found, more extensive surgery may be required to completely remove the tumor and surrounding tissue.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
