Suggest Treatment For A Tender Tubular Lump Inside Tongue
I have a tender tubular shaped lump inside my tongue (on left side). Cant see, only feel. Causes intense pain in am from how i sleep (suctioning tongue to back of front teeth on roof of mouth)...ent said cancer works from outside in. Thinks its a cluster of inflammed nerves. Happened for 5 months...no other issues
It could be cheilitis that is inflammation of tongue. You can take Paracetamol for pain and Multivitamin B complex for 7 - 10 days. Meanwhile avoid spicy foods and drink more water. If no improvement, then a biopsy can be taken for histopathological examination.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
