Suggest Treatment For A Tickle In The Throat And Dry Cough
For the past year I have had a tickle in my throat that makes me cough like a post nasal drip. It has developed into a strong dry cough that I can t control and wipes me out. I have low energy when this happens. Sometimes it hurts to swallow like something is in my throat. I originally thought it was allergys but think it is more.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tickle in the throat and dry cough which seems to be due to chronic upper respiratory tract infection and difficulty in swallowing is due to swollen lymph node/tonsils. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. Take proper course of antibiotics. Avoid oily and sharp food. You should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get paranasal sinus x-ray done along with throat swab test and blood tests and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Drink plenty of fluids.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Harry Maheshwari
