Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Bloating And Burps In A Child

my daughter experiencing a bloating stomach she burps continously and she experiencing a sudden pain in the upper part of her stomach even she ate small amount of foods and she avoiding foods that cause gasses...i saw a gastroenterology doctor and she gave a panthoprazole for 2 weeks to up to 4 weeks... is it okey if she do an endoscopy test and a colondoscopy test? is it safe for her if she undergo for that kind of test because she is only 18

Pantaprazole can be taken for the full recommended period.If symptoms persist even after treatment,endoscopy can be done.

Endoscopy can be done at 18 years of age.Mild discomfort can occur with the procedure.It is a safe procedure.
