Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Burning Caused By Drinking Phenyl

Sir, My wife accidentally drink floor clener pynale (200 to 300 ml) before 6 Hour , recently we give warm water with salt so she vomited 3 to 4 time and after that we give to drink antacid syrup and afte 1 glass of milk now she sleeping but some headache and stomach burning problems continue. ..now what we do kindly give answer as soon as..

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Phenyl must have caused gastritis... that's why the burning. Due to it's corrosive action phenyl drinking usually needs visit to ER.. for washing the stomach, Iv drip if needed & Injection of proton pump inhibitor like Ranitidine .
BUt you seem to have controlled it with home care.
- She should take cold milk/ bland diet.Tablet Ranitidine 300 mg twice a day for 5 days should suffice.
- In case she starts vomiting/ there is no relief with home management.. she should be taken to a physician/ gastroenterologist .. for management.
