Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Cramps And Diarrhea
I traveled to the Dominican Republic last week, I experienced one day of diarrhea somewhat severe. I was pretty careful and did not drink the water, or eat foods I did not know. I continue to have very dark stools with a foul smell and some cramping. Should I see my doc or wait it out a few more days. I am a woman age 57 in good health

It is due to some sort of gastric infection. Take some antibiotics like norflox-tz or oflox-oz after an expert opinion along with meftal-spaz or cyclopam for the abdominal cramps. Take cap rekool-d or omez-d empty stomach. If still not improved then you have to go for abdominal ultrasound to isolate the cause. Take tab nitazoxanide for 5 days to completely get rid off diarrhea.
