Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I had my paraguard removed after 4 years 1.5 weeks ago. 6 days later I threw my back out. As my back heals, I am feeling a lot of discomfort in my belly near where the paraguard site was. Is there any chance there is a problem here? No fever, just back and belly pain. Thank you.
Very likely the belly pain is related to the injury of the back. You may take ibuprofen and paracetamol to help with the pain. If you are not better or you notice any worsening or new symptoms such as increased vaginal secretions, urinary symptoms, please see your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
