Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain After Eating Food

I had a bowel movement this morning between 9am and 10. I ate a bowl of cereal this afternoon around 5. Since eating at 5, my stomach has been cramping and hurting. I had a small bowel movement around 7 but nothing significant. MY stomach continues to cramp and hurt. I took a duc-a-lax pill around 9 but still nothing. I ve drank a couple of glasses of water and a cup of hot tea. Some times (not all) when a cramp hits it feels like my body is opening up for a bowel movement but nothing happens. Should I seek a doctor?

Hello,
Your signs are kind of saying that your bowel is trying to push the contents inside but there is not much stool bulk to push it out effectively.
The pain is most probably due to the cereals you had given you did not anything in between. If you had eaten something outside or new then that might even be the cause of pain.
Differential of ulcer or gastritis can be considered if the pain you have persists or occurs repeatedly whenever you skip your meals.
Try having one or two bananas before sleep and a coffee in the morning followed by five to ten mins of walking. This can induce a bowe movement.
If you have consistent or prolonged pain or pain after eating, continuous burping then you might have to consult a doctor for excluding gastritis or ulcer. Till then for symptomatic relief you can take omeperazole 20mg 30min before food to decrease the acid secretion and also continue with duphlac.
