Hello and welcome to HCM,

Inability to pass stools inspite of laxative pills and associated abdominal pain suggests an obstruction in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT).
This obstruction could be due to a cause within the GIT or some compression from outside.
A growth or polyp can be causing an obstruction from within.
Compression from outside could be due to some growth or volvulus, fibrosis or adhesions.
I suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist for clinical examination.
The GIT may have to be assessed by imaging studies.
In case obstruction is present, appropriate measures can be taken.
In the meanwhile, laxative pills should be stopped.
Laxative pills can turn out to be harmful in case of obstruction.

Thanks and take care
