Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain In An Eleven Year Old Girl
My granddaughter a is 11 years old and has been experiencing severe abdominal pain located a little below and right of the sternum. She has been tested for gallbladder disease, celiac disease, and pancreatic problems. She also has had an upper GI. All results have come back normal. There is no difference is she has dairy products or fasts from them. We re at a loss and the doctors have basically shrugged it off with nerves . Is there anything we can do? I am a licensed counselor, but I m thinking it s not psychosomatic at this point.
Hi..Can understand your concern. As per your query about having abdominal pain in 11 year old child....Since all reports like upper GI,gall bladder and pancreas etc seems to be normal there is possibility of muscular pain or sprain and compression of any nerve while playing or sleeping in a wrong posture of which she was unaware..I suggest you to go for physiotherapy .She must get relief with this.If still not getting any relief you should also once go for a counselling psychologically and there will be no harm doing that..I hope the information helps you.Take care.
