Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain, Nausea, Headache And IBS

I have had severe upper stomach pain, nausea, constipation, headache and watery black stool for a week other than the watery black stool that s only been the last couple days before this it was watery just not black. I have been taking stool softener for the last week. I haven t had a proper bowel movement in 10 days. I am taking omeprazole for an ulcer that I don t even know if I have or not. I haven t had any kind of testing for it yet. My doctor just assumes that I guess. What should I do?

Hello,

Headache associated with nausea can be due to Migraine. Migraine is commonly cause due to overexertion, stress, low blood sugar or dehydration. Stay well nourished & take adequate sleep. Avoid excitement, shock or depression, it may trigger migraine. Avoid addictions if any, cut on junk oily food, Take meals in time. Abdominal pain is often associated with constipation. You are suggested to take fiber rich food & laxatives to keep bowels moving. Since you have a history of IBS, you are suggested to get a through medical check up done.

You should get blood tests & imaging tests done to let the pathology get detected. Your treatment will depend on the clinical condition & reports obtained. In the meantime you can take Sumatriptan (one SOS when required) for temporary relieve from migraine & take antacids & PPI's (Pantoprazol-40) for relieve from IBS & abdominal pain. Get treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
