At 9pm tonight my wonderful husband played indoor soccer tonight. He was kicked in the Achilles heal hard and was thrown down hard on the Astro turf . He got back up and within less than 2 minutes he felt and heard a LOUD POP! Which shocked him and he couldn t put any weight on the leg at all. above the Achilles tendon where he was previously kicked. It s extremely painful (we ve been married 16 yrs and this is the first time I ve seen him in pain like this.. He s still hiding it from me but I see it and how he can t get around now.). it s swelling but I have ice packs at 20 on and 20 min off Continuously. Along with that he hates any medicine but I had him take 2 Advil for swelling pain. Any ideas?
