Suggest Treatment For Acid Reflux And Fever

My daughter had Reflux 4 grade when she was very small ( 6 months). We had done Kidney test even and found some injury to it. We repeated the details test again now when she was 8 and we found there is no reflux now. Now she is 8.5 and she is having fever, i went for Urine test and found there are traces of blood in her Urine (2-3phf) . Do you think we should again go for detail Kidney test?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Fever can be related to an infection. In my opinion, the traces of blood in her urine are not very high. Anyway a kidney function test is necessary to exclude any kidney problems.

I suggest you to do an azotemia and creatinine blood level. I also suggest a renal ultrasound.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
