Suggest Treatment For Acid Reflux And Hiccups
Husband had colon surgery to remove Polyp and now have the hicups, and acid reflex. Can not sleep the problem gets worse at night. Dr. ordered blood work and x-ray of stomach. Stomach is okay but blood work showed a high white blood count. Dr. heard mucus in bottom half of lungs indicating infection. prescribed Leviquine antibiotic and Omeprozole 40 mg for acid reflex. Taking meds and still not sleeping due to constant hiccups.

Omeprazole is drug of choice for treatment of gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), but it starts to work after a couple of weeks.
For hiccups and insomnia try Xanax.
