Suggest Treatment For Acid Reflux And Lower Abdominal Pain
Hi. I'm a 24 year old female, 150lbs, 5'9, with a history of Acid reflux and Pancreatitis (not since I was 14) and I've been having very sharp, stabbing pain the left side of my mid-lower abdomen while I'm pooping. It's been happening more frequently and it's so painful I almost cry. What do I do?

Suggest Treatment For Acid Reflux And Lower Abdominal Pain
Hello! Thank you for trusting HCM! There could be many causes for abdominal pain while defecation. 1. Irritable bowel syndrome 2. Acid peptic disease 3. Anorectal trauma 4. Abscess and fistulas 5. Infection and inflammation 6. Tumor growth and tenesmus etc. Your pancreatic problem may also be aggravating the abdominal pain. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid smoking. Regular exercise is vital. Use tab. Pantoprazole before breakfast. If the symptoms persist, please consult your surgeon. He/she will examine and treat you accordingly. Take care
