My ENT Dr. said I had acid-reflux and a white spot on my right vocal cord and sent me to a specialist. The specialist did surgery and it was basically a polup. No cancer, and the specialist said I did not have acid-reflux. I went back to my regular ENT a week ago and he said I have signs of acid-reflux again. I never have heart burn, and do not know what to believe now. My big concern is a chance if I do have acid reflux, I do not want it to turn into Barretts Syndrum. Do you have any advice. My voice still has not returned completely, still somewhat hoarse. Thank you, William Edwards
