Suggest Treatment For Acne Like Lesions On The Face
i have acne like lesions on the cheeks of my face. they are painful. almost like open sores. they itch. i can squeeze white puss out of them, they then will crust over. if i remove the scab i can see a circular open sore and it bleeds. i have also noticed an increase in facial hair. i am female, 32, healthy. it looks like i have a severe case of acne. these sores started to appear 3 months ago.
Understanding your concern. As per you query you have symptoms of acne like lesions on the face. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash you face 2-3 times a day with mild soap and warm water to prevent the accumulation of oil ,dust and bacteria on your face. Apply vitamin E oil at night. Avoid greasy creams ,use water based products. If acne still persists consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe ointments containing benzyol peroxide, azelaic acid or retinoids. Don't pick or touch acne. Apply kojic acid cream on face.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
