Suggest Treatment For Acute Gastritis Problem

I was diagnosed of H Pylori bacteria through endoscopy. Currently, I am suffering from acute gastritis problem. Doctor advised me to take Pantocid hp 10 days. However, I am confused whether it should be taken before meals or after meals. Please advise Thanks

Hello,

I understand your concern. H. pylori is usually treated with three or four medications, which include antibiotics. You only mention Pantocid. While this medication is taken before eating, it should not be the only medication you should be taking, as it is not enough to erradicate and treat H. Pylori.

Please make sure you get a full prescription from your doctor if you don't already have one.
