Suggest Treatment For Acute Laryngitis

I went to the dr for acute Laryngitis and have been hot cold all day and my stomach has been upset and can t get rid of it. I dud organic chicken broth and they gave me a steroid shot is there something else going on the pain stats right at the end of your breast bone and can t have a bowel movement.
